What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Visiting the library with my daughters and reading bedtime stories to them are some of my fondest "Mommy" memories. I often thought someday I'd write a children's book, and I did—more than once! That's How It Was is my first.

The characters are inspired by my husband’s memories of growing up in the Midwest.
