What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Take a Chance on Love has been in my heart and mind since I began writing The Davenports, my debut mini-series of wholesome and heartfelt, small-town romance. These two characters have spent three previous books flirting, supporting their besties, and developing a strong bond. I simply HAD to share their love story and share their journey to discovering that love is always worth the risk!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Davis is very closely based on my son, a twenty-four-old who is always the life of the party, the most trust-worthy and loyal of friends, and owner of the biggest heart I've ever known. Ironically, I created Landry before I knew she and Davis would end up together, but she's just the strong and brilliant partner he needs to realize that a forever love is the very best love.
